Oh, the possibilities!

I'm so incredibly pumped about the new products and our team's special introduction of a new package. The new products offer so much for our friends and clients to preserve the stories of their lives.

The bracelet and necklace make showing off photos so easily portable. What grandparent, mom or aunt isn't going to love a wearable piece that they can use to brag about grandchildren, children or nieces and nephews?! I personally can't wait to finish my own.

The board books are absolutely excellent for toddlers. Anyone who has experience with children is familiar with board books and their advantages already, many children's stories are available in this format. Consultants have been clamoring for this format and it's presentation earned a standing ovation at Reunion.

And that's not all! Check out the new products and sign up for a free basic account at http://www.MelissasHeritageCreations.com. No purchase necessary to work on projects. (See me when you are ready to publish for a discount!)

I'm really excited about the package currently exclusively available from me and member's of my team. It's a collaboration between Heritage Makers and Memory Medallion. (You can read more about Memory Medallions at http://www.memorymedallion.com.) With this package you get not only the medallion to preserve a beloved family member, friend or piece of history forever but you also get an 8x8 storybook credit to further elaborate and preserve the memory.

It's so incredible to realize that I get to be a part of preserving these memories and pieces of people's lives. It's also interesting to hear and see the stories. I can't wait to do my own Memory Medallion tour too. Yes, the medallions are not only for the deceased. They're for any story you want to be available for generations to come, including landmarks! They're small and unobtrusive so won't interfere with any aesthetic qualities. (And may even enhance them!)

You can contact me at melissa@melissasheritagecreations.com with any questions and/or to hear more about these offerings!

Wall Calendar Image

I wanted you to see the wall calendar. I created it today! I'm willing to share the template too. :)

Coming soon to a workshop near you!

My director shared a wonderful project with me recently and now I'm going to share it with you. This particular one is a magnetic wall calendar. There is a template for it (and others) in the template gallery. I've actually been looking for something just like this but couldn't find what I wanted, now I can make it very simply!

Once it's complete I'll share a link so you can view it too. However, if you want to see it in person you'll have to either schedule a workshop with me (ideal, since you can get free credits and make yours for free!) or attend one!

Organization is important and with this you can put your whole family's schedule in a spot where everyone can see it, knowing at a glance who, what, where, when!

Happy designing!

Great Week with HM!

I've had a pretty good, if busy, week with Heritage Makers this week! It's definitely helped me feel productive to say the least!

If I can take a moment to be self-congratulatory . . . I hit my first month qualifying for 500 Club! I'm still working on the training modules and I'll also need to sponsor one new consultant to obtain the Fast Track rewards but I'm well on my way!

Now, guests also get a gift with their order. This is new for August!

We have some great incentives and gifts for hosting a workshop in August. I'll share those details with you in an upcoming post but believe me they are great! HM has revamped their Host Rewards program a little bit and it's even easier for hosts to earn free credits.

Addiction

Oh wow, where did my morning go?! I did my morning work and thought "Oh, I'll spend a few minutes working on my planner." It's almost 1 pm! I clicked "Save and Quit" in the Studio and stared wistfully at the confirmation pop-up. "No! I'm not sure I want to quit!" Someday I may have to join a support group but right now I'm enjoying it way too much!

Yes, I really am crazy enough to talk to my computer.

*sigh* Now it's time to go do some work and other things on my to do list.
Yay! We had fun at the open house and now I have a workshop to conduct tonight as well as one this coming Wednesday evening plus I'll be at an informational booth during the day. (It's Rain Day!) We're trucking right along.

I have a few projects actually in the works now. One is a surprise for someone. I'm also working on a planner (Organization is key!), a couple of projects that will be turned into other crafts and some fun pages for framing.

Word of warning! You will get sucked in and spend hours in your studio! I was up way too late last night playing in there. I promise though you'll see the results of at least some of the projects embedded here. Stay tuned!

I'm so excited! Tomorrow is the big day! Off and on today I've been working on materials. (I do have other work I have to do too. ) It's been fun though to explore studio, work on some designing and just dream about the possibilities.

I'm sooo glad I have the premium studio too. There are just so many more options. It really helps. I hope those of you attending are ready to see a sampling of the possibilities.

Once I get the binders together I need to figure out what I'm serving as refreshments and make sure everything is set to go. (Refreshments aren't really hard but I love to plan things like that so I make it more complicated than most people.)

It's time for the first step.

I'm holding my grand opening for Heritage Makers! It's July 22nd at 7 pm and I'd love to see you there! The address is 63 W. Franklin St., Waynesburg, PA 15370. Whether you have ideas or not on what you can do, don't worry. There is a wide variety of projects and potential, really, something for everyone!

Projects I am planning:
  • A planner for next year. - One thing I plan to do to help me remember birthdays? Each month in the planner will include a photo or photos of people who have a birthday that month! For instance, my sister and nephew both have birthdays in January so I'll include photos of both of them!
  • A storybook for my oldest nephew's kindergarten graduation.
  • Storybooks to help my nieces and nephews learn.
  • Wedding book for my sister's recent wedding.
  • Storybooks for each one of the kids, extra ones for the milestones!
  • I also hope to write some small original stories for the kids! I think it will be fun to create stories with them as characters and think too that they will love to hear and/or read a story about them!
I think I'll stop the list now. :) It's a bit overwhelming and this blog post is meant to talk about the open house and not my projects! I just get sooo excited thinking about them.

Anyway, I'm holding a Grand Opening Open House to introduce myself as a Heritage Makers consultant and help my attendees begin preserving their memories all while having some fun!

Bring a friend and stay awhile. Refreshments will be served and we'll have plenty of samples available for you to peruse.
